Welcome 2010

Everyone gets excited about the new year... New Year's resolutions (that rarely stick) and starting fresh. I always thought it was lame to start a resolution just because it was the beginning of the year and then quit by January 15th! As a result, I have never really been one for resolutions. That said, this year, I am working on more exercise- I am a brown belt in Karate and that is good, but I want to get out and workout more than twice a week. I know that karate was helpful in me staying healthy through my pregnancy (yes, I trained until I was 6 months pregnant and even earned my 2nd level brown belt 5 1/2 months pregnant!). 3 months after my baby was born I was back in the Dojo.

The other thing I am working on this year is to use more wildcrafted herbs. I want to get in the habit of being out in nature more and wildcrafting.

The last thing I am working on, as it relates to herbs and natural healing, is I have enrolled in the School of Natural Healing Iridology course!!! I am so excited. I started yesterday.

What are you going to do in 2010 to help yourself and those you love be more healthy?

BTW, I got an email from the School of Natural Healing. They have now raised the tuition on the Family Herbalist class. It is $295. However, they also said, if someone enrolls in the course through an affiliate link (like the one on my site to the right), tuition will be discounted to $195. The Family Herbalist course will give you the basics of natural healing. It will help you in assessing what to do to help yourself and your family. I highly recommend it!
